What Primus Doctors Do
Primus doctors perform scheduled weekly visits at nearby facilities tending to residents’ wound care needs by such as bedside debridements, incision and drainage, biopsies and directing care plans.
In a typical day, a Primus doctor will see 30 to 40 patients. He or she also serves an essential role advising the facility’s resident medical staff on any steps required to dress or tend to a wound in the intervening time between visits.
